In Memory of the Man in the Mirror

Michael Jackson is dead.

It seems surreal. He belongs to the 80’s! He’s still young and no one has replaced him in the entertainment world.

I don’t really blog about celebrity’s death. But this time, I wanted to. Maybe because my memories of the 80’s are all good. I had a happy childhood and majority of those memories have 80’s music playing in the background. Hence, I’m stuck on the 80’s. And hence, my sadness for Michael Jackson’s death.

It’s sad because it seems like he got lost somewhere in between Thriller and Black and White. He could have been more. He could have lead a more ‘normal’ life. Especially when you remember him as a kid singing ‘Ben’.

It’s sad.

So i’m posting one of his sad songs. It’s not my favorite of his because my favorite MJ songs are dance songs. But I like the message of this song. Read the lyrics, it’s really nice.
